BOISE, Idaho, June 2, 2016 — Proskriptive, a data science company that connects healthcare groups with the analytics needed to deliver better patient care outcomes, announced today a partnership with Pinnacle Integrated Medicine, a company providing a clinically integrated network for independent physician collaboration in order to better serve patients.
Partnering with Pinnacle will further Proskriptive’s mission of offering predictive analytics technology to promote “well care” to additional providers in Idaho, and extend its services into Washington State, Oregon and Alaska.
Pinnacle’s vision is to become a physician owned and led clinically integrated network to keep quality high and control costs across the continuum of care. Their leadership consists of physician owners and directors from numerous medical group specialties across four different states.
“Pinnacle is delivering a unique service that allows doctors to remain independent,” said Michael Hollenbeck, co-founder and CEO of Proskriptive. “We are excited to work with Pinnacle to offer their physician partners analytics typically available only to larger medical organizations, at a scale that supports the needs of independent doctors.”
Jason Haugen, CEO of Pinnacle, adds, “The backbone of our model is to bring independent groups and systems together clinically through an interoperable system linking disparate EMRs so they can remain independent but benefit from clinical integration. The addition of Proskriptive technology to our offerings will enable our members to access key analytics to support strategic goals.”
“Proskriptive’s open healthcare analytics ecosystem allows us to offer our customers the best analytic capabilities in the market whether developed in house or sourced from prestigious hospitals and clinical research organizations. Because of our unique approach we are able to scale data science to meet the needs of even the smallest healthcare organizations,” said Justin Richie, Proskriptive CTO and co-founder.
To launch the partnership, the two companies will deploy the technology in early fall with the Alaska Center for Pediatrics (ACP), then expand to other Pinnacle member organizations.
“ACP has been frustrated with the large amount of time utilized to coordinate health information that is spread out amongst disparate services and systems,” said Dr. Thad Woodard, Pediatrician at Alaska Center for Pediatrics and Pinnacle Board member. “This lack of health information integration is one factor restricting quality care and we are excited to use the insights provided from our data by Proskriptive to improve patient outcomes.”
This partnership comes on the heels of a recent announcement to partner with Trinexus, which extends Proskriptive’s reach from Alaska, past the east coast of the US to Puerto Rico.
